1. How
are the photographs printed?
Each print is created when a purchase
is made. The prints are on Fujicolor Crystal Archive professional photographic
paper, processed through professional Fuji Hunt Chemicals. The archival
qualities of this process is stated by Fuji to be over 50+ years, before
fading may occur. This is the same process that you would find at your
local pro-labs. To reduce fading or damage to print, we recommend you
get your print framed at a professional frame shop an ask for UV glass
or UV protecting thermoplastic (ie. plexiglass).
Due not hang prints in direct sunlight.
2. How
long does it take to get my purchase?
Typically it takes 10-20
business days to receive your print when you order on-line. This time
is required so each print can be produced in a processional photographic
lab out of state and then shipped to Greg A. Olsen's home studio. He
then mails it to your home address. This method prevents storing of
prints, keeping overhead low and increasing the prints life span. This
method also maintains very affordable prices for the customer.
3. Can
I pick up my print directly and not pay shipping?
Currently prints can not
be picked up directly from Greg's home studio. Each print is printed
when ordered to keep the final prices low and prolong your prints life.
The shipping price covers the cost of the handling and the durable tube
packaging the prints are transported in.
If you desire to not pay shipping or wish to purchase in person please
contact your local art store and galleries to ask if they carry Greg
A. Olsen Photography. Currently "Art N Frame" located within
the Alton Square at Jeffrey and Alton is interested in Greg A. Olsen
Photography. Please encourage Eric and his staff to order more by asking
for specific pieces of my work. We also recommend you speak with Josh
from "Tall Mouse and Crafts" in Irvine near Office Max and
ask when they expect to carry Greg A. Olsen art work.
4. Why
are the large prints limited editions?
The larger prints are sold
in limited editions as collector items. Limiting the number of prints
that are produced increases the value of the prints in the series.
5. What
if I want my print framed?
Due to the difficulty and
expense in shipping framed art we do not ship any framed art. Framed
pieces can be purchased directly from us at art shows. We will personally
deliver framed work if you are a local resident or business in Woodbridge
with a large print, multiple item purchase. Contact us for more details.
We currently refer customers
to visit Art N' Frame in Irvine, CA. They are located in Alton square
next to the Oreck vacuum. Tell them Greg A. Olsen sent you.
6. When is the next
show I can buy directly from Greg A. Olsen?

does Greg A. Olsen use?
All images were taken with

8. What are Infrared
Photographs?
The images labeled Infrared
tend to have a reverse black and white look. What is happening is that
things that reflect UV light appear white such as trees and plants,
while things such as the sky or water appear dark gray or black. This
effect is achieved by a special lens filter.
The human visual range
of light is 400nm (violet) to approximately 700nm (red.) The infrared
spectrum is 700nm - 900nm. Different filters and cameras will cover
different levels of the infrared spectrum.

print in direct sunlight.
